MOA: Christmas Shopping

Pretty bracelets at J.Crew
Yesterday my sister & I did all of our Christmas shopping at Mall of America. Yes, that's right. ALL of my shopping! I am so lucky to live near MOA. Everything I needed (and wanted) all in one location. The display windows & tables are beyond gorgeous. Even the mall is decorated. Glittery, wintery, perfection! Great cold weather clothes, sweet lotions & more! Of course, while shopping for others, we found time to window shop for ourselves. Last minute additions to my wish list! By the time we were done shopping, it had snowed about 3 inches! Perfect day.
Lovely colors at J.Crew
Metallic lace, red orange pants & animal print.
Warm hats & scarves at GAP

Citrus pencil skirt & denim cuffed button down
Christmas socks for Christmas shopping

Mmm....Mediterranean

Yum, yum, yum. I recently had Pesto Cavatappi with Grilled Chicken Breast. It. Was. Delicious. Now, normally, I'm more a classic Macaroni & Cheese kind of girl, myself. When I get adventurous, I'll try a little Chicken Alfredo. You can imagine how crazy I felt when I tried this. I even ordered a normal size dish instead of the small! There was so much I had left overs which was a happy ordering mistake by me because I got to eat this again! I ate this at Noodles & Company. However, here is a really good recipe for making it at home!

Smells Like Teen Spirit

Someday by Justing Bieber has been out for a while now. With the holidays coming up & the Bieber baby scandal put to rest, all the girls are swooning for the teen heartthrob. This fragrance might as well be pure gold for some girls. I'm wondering how many middle school adolescents sporting orthodontia and glasses actually wear perfume!

Also, do you find it at all a little funny that this young boy is making a flirty girl scent?
Would you try this fragrance? Would you buy it for a teenage girl?

{The Adventures}...Dutch Tulips

The Netherlands in Spring are beyond beautiful! Did you know that tulips are not actually native to the Netherlands? During the Baroque Period, the Dutch East Trading Company went crazy for tulips. There was actually a psychological name for hoarding tulip bulbs! People were paying thousands of dollars for these tulip bulbs because they were a sign of someone's status! Now, we instantly think of the Netherlands when we talk about tulips! And why not? This is beautiful! I can't wait to travel here! (I hear the best time is May.)

Right now, with this chilly weather, where is your dream destination?

The Class Act

For the first installment of this winter's gift guide, I'm starting with the classy lady we all know. I have to admit, this is definitely my Christmas Wish List. These are some of my favorite things this winter. Subtle nail polish, simple necklaces, and a light flowery scent are so understated and sophisticated. I adore the great neutrals mixed with natural elements for shoes and wallets with fur, leather and suede. So here are some ideas for that class act in your life. Whether it be mom, best girlfriend, or neighbor, there's something polished for everyone.

1. Essie Nail Polish (Left clockwise: "carnival" "lady godiva" "licorice" "marshmallow")
2. Daisy Marc Jacobs Eau So Fresh
3. Fossil Small Silver Tone Heart Padlock Pendant
4. Kate Spade "Leigh" Boot (Equally as cool)
5. Tory Burch "Amanda Envelope Wallet"
